About Me

My photo
Katey
Alabama, United States
I am 27 yrs old and was diagnosed with CF at birth. In 2004, God gave me a 2nd chance at life and an opportunity to share his miracles with others. On that day, I received a living donor double lung transplant. My mom and a family friend risked their life to save mine. I am a walking testimony of God's miracles and his mighty and powerful grace. Despite being sick over the years, I've never given up and worked towards my dreams and goals in life. I graduated college in May of 2009 with a BS in Health Information Management, and again in May of 2012 with my Bachelors in Nursing degree. I currently work at Children's Hospital as a cardiac ICU nurse.
