Hospital

This morning I woke up again breathing really hard and feeling very fatigued. I arrived on the unit about 9:00 for labs and chest xray. I saw the nurse practitioner a couple of hours later, and after a quick look at me, she said I need to be admitted. So, I have been admitted to our transplant floor (HTICU) for at least a few days. I feel pretty confident they will send me home on iv abx, but she wanted to monitor me for awhile since I was having trouble breathing. My labs looked fine as well as my chest xray. I haven't seen the doctor yet, and may not until the morning. However, the CRNP, said that it might be broncho-pneumonia, which doesn't really show up on an xray. I feel pretty crappy, and much worse than when i have a respiratory infection. But either way, I'm happy to finally be getting some relief and much needed rest from work. I waited for my hospital room to be cleaned for about 4 hours, waiting a total of 8 hours before finally getting into a room. Right now, I am resting and watching TV. I do have a lot of nausea and shortness of breath right now.

I will update again soon! Thanks for all of your prayers. Please pray that they are able to clear this (whatever it is) up fast and that my breathing will ease up quickly.

Hey girl,
I was getting concerned for you since I didn't see you at clinic. Even though I knew the doctors couldn't tell me anything about you I just had to ask anyway. Dr. Willie just said you will be OK. I don't wish you to be in the hospital at all but I am thankful you are getting some rest and hopefully some medicine that will help. I'm praying for you and if there is anything more I can do, please let me know!
Sleep well......
