SGA Rep

Today I was officially elected as our Student Government Association (SGA) rep for the UAB HIM Program. Not sure if I mentioned it before or not, but I submitted my name and said that I might be interested...really not thinking I would actually win the vote! I've never done this sort of thing, because, yes, I used to be extremely shy. Some of that still exists today, but not nearly as bad. I feel honored and think it will be a great benefit to my resume and scholarship applications!! YAY!!
