We stayed in Orange Beach, Alabama!
Our condo is right next to the Flora Bama restaurant. On Saturday, the Flora Bama hosted the annual Mullet Triathlon. LOTS and LOTS of people were there! I missed the swimming part, but we saw the runners and bike riders!

All in all it was a good trip. I hated the weather...and I am a big laying out person when it comes to the beach, but it was nice to get away and spend time with the girls. My aunt and cousin went back Saturday morning, because my aunt got sick. So the majority of the day on Saturday and through Sunday, it was just me and my Mom, which was nice. We did do a little bit of shopping, and hit the outlet mall on the way back home. My mom and I decided we would go back to the beach in September, hoping for better weather (as a family trip with my brother and Dad).

I love Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We plan on taking the kids there this summer. Hubby and I are actually going to the beach Friday but we are going to Panama City Beach. Looks like you guys had a great time. Isn't it so wonderful getting alone time with your mom? I LOVE to be with my mom...especially when it's just the two of us...which is a rare occasion!! So glad you had fun!!
Even tho the weather didn't cooperate so much,sounds like you had lots of fun.My daughter and DIL need to go away for a weekend like that!Only no beaches around...
I love the beach even tho living on it takes alot of the fun out its still nice 2 me!!
We have a place in orange beach called the summer house and we love just going to stay even if the weather is yuck!!!

Looks like you had a good time! I'm so glad you were able to get away and relax some. Hope you are getting through your school work and getting excited about the big day! Glad the foot is healing too. Talk to you soon!
